Cellular Shades & Privacy

Cellular shades are available in many different fabrics, from sheer to completely opaque. If privacy is a priority, you will want to consider going with a more opaque fabric for your cellular shades. A good thing to remember is, if you select a cellular shade that allows a light of light to come in, at night that the light is allowed out. It will be easier to see into a well-lit room at night from outside depending on the level of opacity you select.

IWS was recommended to us by our builder. We had them come out and measure, and ordered shades for our telescoping slider, shutters, and blackout shades for bedrooms. There was a little mix up with our sales rep and the order, but Stephen, one of the owners, came out to us within 48 hours of learning about the issue. His attention to detail was top notch, and he resolved the issue. We are so pleased with our purchase and very happy we went with IWS. They are a family business and truly care about their customers. I recently had shutters installed in all my windows in my home. Jeanine Martin, the sales person we dealt with was professional in all aspects of the sale and measurements of our windows and door. She listened and answered all our questions and concerns. She kept us posted on our order and install date. Keeping in mind that all this was done pretty much during Covid-19 everything was completed in time. We highly recommend Ms. Martin and IWS shutters to anyone interested in shutters for their home or business. They also have the best deals in town. You will not regret it. Our shutters look awesome. This is the 2nd time we’ve used this company & couldn’t be more pleased! From start to finish, everything ran smoothly! This time, we put plantation shutters throughout the house, so it was a larger job. Janine was our salesperson & her measurements were spot on. In addition she recommended the 4” blinds rather than the 3” for our home, as well as the larger trim. She was right on all accounts! We also had roll up blinds installed on our lanai.The installation was flawless inside & out as well. Christian & Calab arrived on time & went straight to work. We interviewed two shutter companies and Margaret, our saleswoman with IWS, presented the best options for our wants, needs and windows. Christian, Caleb and crew literally just now left our house after installing plantations downstairs. We are beyond impressed! The rooms look brighter, the new shutters are sleek and fresh, the install was quick and professional. The guys even worked around the fabric valances draping each window without taking them down. And of course, the clean up afterward (including vacuuming) was greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
